CES 2025: 7 Smart Home Products Coming to a Home Near You

That’s a wrap! Following a full week at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada, HomeServe is back where we belong — at home. Still, we’re finding ourselves reeling over the incredible outlay of smart home innovations, updated appliances and brand-new home system technology that we encountered out on the show floor.

CES (formerly known as the Consumer Electronics Show) is one of the world’s biggest technology exhibitions, with thousands of companies showing off their latest and best. Despite the name, consumers aren’t generally allowed on the show floor — but don’t fret. We took it upon ourselves to navigate the show floor to show you the incredible technology that could soon be coming to a home like yours. 

Here’s what we saw at CES 2025 that we think you should keep your eye on:

1. BeatBot AquaSense 2 Lineup

Beatbot just announced “AquaSense 2,” a lineup of three new pool cleaning robots equipped with powerful motors, lengthy battery life and multiple cleaning modes. The top-of-the-line model, the Ultra, even uses AI technology that maps your pool for precision cleaning.

2. Aiper IrriSense

You can find a smart version of almost everything these days, and industry-leader Aiper has carved out a brand-new space for itself: smart residential lawn irrigation. The goal of the IrriSense Smart Irrigation System is to create a lush, healthy lawn while minimizing water waste. It was recognized as a 2025 CES Innovation Award Honoree at CES.

3. Pawport

Another Innovation Award Honoree this year was the Pawport, which is a smart pet door. It fits onto existing pet doors and adds a layer of control and security to what is otherwise just a vulnerable entrance to your home. You can outfit your pet with a Bluetooth collar tag, allowing them to come inside while keeping critters and criminals out. The Pawport connects to an app so you can monitor and control it remotely.

4. AirThings Corentium 2

Radon is an odorless, colorless gas that can accumulate in your home and pose serious health risks. Yet, many homeowners don’t know whether radon is seeping into their homes. The new AirThings Corentium 2 aims to solve this problem with constant radon detection, putting more data into homeowners’ hands. The new model builds on the success of its predecessor, offering real-time radon readings with greater accuracy, thanks to an updated sensor.

5. Dreame Technology X50 Ultra Robot Vacuum 

We’ve all seen the memes of robot vacuums “stranded” in rooms where the slightly elevated doorway amounts to a “cliff” that the robot cannot navigate. But that could soon be a thing of the past. Dreame Technology’s X50 Ultra vacuum, which debuted at CES 2025, can actually surmount obstacles up to 6 centimeters tall.

6. Hydrific Droplet Water Monitor

Innovation Awards Honoree Hydrific Droplet is a smart water sensor. It clamps onto your home’s water inlet pipe, and it can give you insight into what’s going on inside your plumbing system. The device offers real-time tracking of your water usage.

7. Flic Duo

A little bit like a magic wand, the new Flic Duo is a next-gen smart button. The device can be mounted on the wall or removed to be used like a portable controller. It can recognize up to 30 unique commands made up of different combinations of presses and flicking or swinging gestures. These commands can control all kinds of smart things in your home, from turning on the lights to raising or lowering the volume of your smart speaker.
